Roll-Top Waterproof Construction

The body is high-frequency welded into a seamless shell with no exposed stitching, and the roll-top folds down and buckles to seal the main compartment. How We Make and Test It

Each backpack starts with cut waterproof fabric and a reinforced base. We high-frequency weld the body and the clear window pocket into a seamless shell with no exposed stitching, fit the roll-top and side-release buckles, then assemble the padded harness, sternum strap, waist belt, breathable back panel, side lash points and D-rings. Before a batch ships, we run a heavy rain and water-jet test appropriate to the IPX6 rating to confirm the welded body and roll-top keep the main compartment dry, and we pull-test the harness, waist belt and buckles under load. The welded seams and the harness anchors are the two areas we inspect hardest.
