Sealock manufactures the Waterproof Dry Backpack with Airtight Zipper and Air Valve for Kayaking, model SL-E090, for paddlers and watersports users who need serious waterproof protection with the option to float. As a welded dry-bag factory, we seal the tall body with an airtight waterproof zipper and a fold-over top, weld every joint seamlessly, and add an inflate/deflate air valve — so this waterproof dry backpack keeps gear dry through submersion, and can be inflated to float high on the water or deflated to pack down small. A removable, convertible harness lets you carry it as a backpack or a tote, which makes it as practical on the trail as on the river.

Airtight Zipper and Fold-Over Top

The opening is sealed by an airtight waterproof zipper for a tight, consistent seal across the whole top, then a fold-over top folds down and clips over it for a second layer of security. Every seam is welded rather than sewn, so there are no needle holes for water to find. Rated IPX7, this dry backpack is built to keep the main compartment dry even under full submersion during a capsize or a river crossing. Inflate / Deflate Air Valve

A sealed air valve on the front lets you both inflate and deflate the bag. Inflate it and the sealed pack gains buoyancy — it floats high if it goes overboard and doubles as a cushion or seat — making it a genuine floating dry backpack. Deflate it and the pack compresses down for tight packing and easy storage on a kayak deck or a rack. It is the feature that separates this dry backpack from a plain roll-top sack.

Convertible, Removable Harness

Each backpack starts with cut waterproof tarpaulin and a reinforced base. We high-frequency weld the body and the valve seat into a seamless shell with no needle holes, install the airtight zipper and fold-over top, fit the inflate/deflate valve, and assemble the removable convertible harness with its adjustable chest strap and reflective webbing. Before a batch ships, we run a full water-immersion test — submerging each sealed bag for more than two hours to confirm the IPX7 seal — check that the air valve holds pressure after inflation, and pull-test the harness and buckles under load. The welded seams, the airtight zipper and the air valve are the areas we inspect hardest.
