Roll-Top Waterproof Construction with Front Pocket

The body is high-frequency welded into a seamless shell with no exposed stitching, and the roll-top folds down and buckles to seal the main compartment. Rated IPX7, the welded body and roll-top are built to keep the main compartment dry even under submersion during a capsize or a river crossing — ideal for kayaking, camping and the trail. On the front, a waterproof zip pocket gives quick access to a phone, keys or a map without unrolling the main bag. Closed with air inside, the sealed roll-top also traps enough buoyancy to float if it goes overboard. We confirm the seal on every bag with a full water-immersion test, submerging the closed bag for more than two hours and checking that the inside stays dry.

Two Sizes: 20L and 28L

Both sizes share the same welded construction and suspension; you choose by load:

20L — approx. 48 × 23 × 18 cm, around 0.65 kg, a compact daypack for kayaking, day hikes and quick trips.
28L — approx. 54 × 26 × 20 cm, around 0.9 kg, extra volume for overnight kit, camping and longer outings.

Full Comfort Suspension

This is where it leaves basic dry bags behind. Padded ergonomic shoulder straps spread the load, an adjustable chest strap that moves to fit your torso steadies it on the water, and an adjustable waist belt transfers weight onto the hips for longer carries. A breathable air-mesh back panel cuts the sweaty-back feel of a coated pack, and reflective trim on the shoulder straps lifts visibility in low light. It is the carry system that makes a loaded dry backpack walkable over distance.

Bottle Pockets and Carry Handle

How We Make and Test It

Each backpack starts with cut 500D PVC tarpaulin (TPU on request). We high-frequency weld the body into a seamless shell with no exposed stitching, fit the roll-top, the waterproof front zip pocket, the side mesh pockets, and the full suspension — padded straps, chest strap, waist belt and mesh back panel. Before a batch ships, we run a full water-immersion test — submerging each sealed bag for more than two hours to confirm the IPX7 seal keeps the main compartment dry — and we pull-test the straps, waist belt and buckles under load. The welded seams and the harness anchors are the two areas we inspect hardest.

How waterproof is it?

It is rated IPX7 with a high-frequency welded body and a roll-top closure, built to keep the main compartment dry even under brief submersion, and verified with a full water-immersion test of more than two hours. The front pocket uses a waterproof zip. As with any roll-top, roll the top down fully before buckling.

What is the difference between 20L and 28L?
