Roll-Top Storm Closure

The top closes with a roll-top flap that folds down over the opening and clips under compression straps on the front, sealing the main compartment against driving rain and keeping dust and grit out on the trail. A drawcord and a top grab handle sit under the flap. Rated IPX5–IPX6, the pack is built to shed heavy rain and spray on a mountain day; because it uses a stitched-and-welded construction with a flap closure rather than a fully welded dry-bag body, it is weather-proof rather than submersible — the right build for a hiking pack that has to carry weight comfortably.

Suspended Ventilated Back System

The back panel is a suspended, tensioned system that holds the pack body away from your spine, opening an airflow channel that carries heat and sweat away on climbs. Contoured, heavily padded S-shaped shoulder straps follow the shape of the shoulder, and the whole system is built to keep a loaded pack stable and cool over long distances — the difference between a pack you can wear all day and one you take off every hour.

Load-Carrying Harness with Zippered Hip Belt

A padded hip belt transfers the weight of a full pack onto your hips and off your shoulders, and it carries its own zip pocket for a phone, snacks or a compass — reachable without taking the pack off. An adjustable sternum strap keeps the shoulder straps tracking, and load-lifter and compression webbing pull the load in close. This is a harness built to carry weight, not just to hang a bag on your back.

Technical Attachment System & Bungee Net

The front panel carries a welded daisy chain of lash loops for clipping tools, poles or a helmet, a welded waterproof zip pocket for the items you need sealed and fast, and a bungee gear net across the top flap for stashing a wet shell or a layer you have just stripped off. Side compression straps cinch the load, and bottom lash points take a sleeping mat or tent. Reinforced welded TPU panels protect the high-wear zones.

An elastic bungee cord net across the top flap gives you somewhere to stuff a jacket, a wet rope or gloves without opening the main compartment — the kind of fast, external stash space a technical pack lives on.
