The main compartment opens with a waterproof zipper rather than a roll-top, so you get the full, fast access of a normal backpack — easy to pack and unpack at a desk or a bike rack. The body is high-frequency welded into a seamless shell with no needle holes, backed by a TPU waterproof film. Rated IPX6, it gives heavy rain protection for the wet commute; because it uses a waterproof zipper rather than a sealed roll-top, it is built for rain and splash rather than submersion, and it wipes clean in seconds.

How We Make and Test It

Each backpack starts with cut 420D TPU laminated nylon and a TPU waterproof film lining. We high-frequency weld the body into a seamless shell with no needle holes, install the waterproof zipper with precision, reinforce the stress points, and assemble the padded harness, breathable back panel, sternum strap, front waterproof pocket, side bottle pockets and carry handle. Before a batch ships, we run a heavy rain and water-jet test appropriate to the IPX6 rating to confirm the welded body and zipper keep the interior dry, and we pull-test the straps, handle and buckles under load. The welded seams and the zipper installation are the two points we inspect hardest.
