The last exclusion is a consequence of the design rather than a defect. Will a laptop stay dry in the rain?

In normal commuting exposure, yes. The machine sits in a padded compartment behind a laminated YKK zipper, inside a PU-backed lining, behind a PU-coated shell — three layers of resistance before water reaches it, with the main zipper arced along the top of the panel rather than across an exposed face. In extended heavy rain, water will eventually track along the shoulder-strap seams, which is a property of sewn construction. Programs in wet climates usually add a stowable rain cover, which we can supply integrated into a base pocket.

Why two sliders instead of one?

Because on a slim pack the way you open it matters. Two sliders let the user crack the top open for a cable or a charger without exposing the whole interior, open from the bottom end while the bag stands upright on a floor, or part the zip in the middle for full access when it is laid flat. It also halves the travel distance on any single opening, which reduces wear on the slider over a bag's life.

Does a 15.6-inch laptop really fit in a 12 cm-deep pack?

A standard 15.6-inch machine fits in the padded compartment with the main zipper closing without strain. Depth is not the constraint — a laptop is around 2 cm thick, and the 12 cm profile is about how far the pack stands off the back, not how much a single item can be. Thicker mobile-workstation chassis are tight, and if a program targets those we would recommend scaling the compartment, which is a straightforward modification on this platform. We will confirm against a sample of the actual machine on request.

What can the hidden side pocket actually hold?

A phone, keys, a folded mask or a slim bottle. It is a soft stretch-faced pocket rather than a gusseted one, because a gusseted bottle pocket on a 12 cm-deep pack would add a third again to its depth and defeat the whole design. Empty, it lies completely flat and is invisible from the side. A gusseted or zipped side pocket is available as a running change where a program needs one.

Are all six colours running stock, or are some made to order?

How should we inspect it on arrival?

Use a rain spray exposure with absorbent paper placed inside the main compartment and the laptop compartment, plus dimensional, dual-slider operation, strap-symmetry and colour-difference checks. Do not run an immersion test — SL-E1176 is not specified to pass one, and immersing it will produce a failure on a criterion the product was never sold against.
