Roll-Top with Inner Waterproof Sealing Strip

The main compartment closes with a three-roll roll-top over an inner waterproof sealing strip — a two-part seal that presses shut for a tighter, more airtight closure than a plain roll. Every seam of the 500D PVC body is high-frequency welded with no needle holes. Rated IPX7, it blocks rain, splash, mud and temporary immersion, so gear stays dry through a capsize or a river crossing. We verify the seal on every bag with a full water-immersion test, submerging the closed pack for more than two hours and confirming the inside stays dry.

A transparent front pocket fits a smartphone up to 6.7" and lets you operate the touchscreen, follow GPS navigation, answer calls and read messages without taking the phone out — so it stays sealed and dry while you use it. It is the detail that keeps a phone usable on the water instead of buried in a dry bag.

Removable Waterproof Wet Bag

The pack includes a detachable waterproof inner pouch — roughly 30 × 35.5 cm — for the things you do not want touching the rest of your kit: wet clothes, a swimsuit, a towel, electronics or personal accessories. Clip it inside to keep wet and dry separated, or lift it out and carry it on its own.

Inflate/Deflate Air Valve and Attachment

An integrated air valve does double duty: release trapped air to compress the pack down for tight packing, or inflate it to add buoyancy and improve how it holds its shape. Sealed properly with air inside, the backpack floats on water — so if it goes overboard, it stays on the surface instead of taking your gear to the bottom.

A multi-point external attachment system with reinforced loops and welded D-rings secures trekking poles, sandals, a water bottle, a dry towel, a sleeping pad, carabiners or camping gear, and adjustable compression straps stabilize the load and cut movement while hiking or paddling.

Does it really float?

Yes. Sealed with air inside — helped by the inflate valve — the pack floats on water, so it stays on the surface if it goes overboard.
